casey stoner Motogp test

” #Motogp test day 1, No guess who?s the fastest ”

The Repsol Honda rider was the fastest on the opening day of the official Test in Malaysia, finishing just over four-tenths of a second ahead of Jorge Lorenzo. Valentino Rossi was 12th as he continued to ride with his recovering shoulder.
The Australian’s place has been taken by seven time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi, who was only 15th fastest at the end of his first test on the Desmosedici last November, prompting a spate of technical changes.

Those changes are focussed around improving front-end feel, by making the bike more flexible. It’s a development direction Stoner supports.
The honours of the fastest Ducati went to the Pramac outfit, with the new privateer recruit, Randy De Puniet finishing in tenth. The fortunes of the factory team were not as glowing with Valentino Rossi in 12th, in his first ride on the GP11 in official colours, obviously still struggling around the hot and technical Malaysian circuit, ahead of Nicky Hayden.

Stoner quickest out the block:
