You know how dealerships always come out with these commercials that promise a world of savings if you go out and buy a car on their lot?
For ’Al’s Chevrolet’, it’s the promise of a "post Super Bowl extravaganza" where the dealership will be smashing prices for all their vehicles in grand fashion!
In true salesman fashion, Al even went out and did the whole production routine for the ad, complete with two skinny fake referees, middle-aged men and women wearing football jerseys - none of which were Packers or Steelers jerseys - the world’s worst touchdown celebration, and a fox - or is it squirrel - mascot that slams a foam hammer on a Chevrolet Camaro. It should’ve been a classic sales pitch commercial, except that it had one pretty big problem.
The Camaro that the clueless mascot hit turned out to be the Transformer, Bumblebee.
Needless to say, the Autobot wasn’t all too happy getting hit by a foam hammer on the hood so he did what any self-respecting robot would do in that situation: he took the annoying mascot, threw him away before reverting back to Camaro form and driving off in a cloud of smoke.
